SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 General Code FAQ
1. How do I use the codes from this site?
In order to use the codes provided by Code X, you will require a cheat device such as a Gameshark, CodeBreaker, Xploder, or AR MAX. These devices allow you to enter our codes into the cheat device in order to modify the game's addresses in which an altered effect takes place.

2. What can I do with a cheat device? Will I be able to create new moves or attires, or possibly edit textures?
What you can do: A cheat device can only allow you to edit what is already programmed into the game. You can edit certain things but not everything. Let's take WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007 for example. You can change the rules of a match by adding your own stipulations such as playing a Hell In a Cell match and making it First Blood or Last Man Standing rules. You can bypass restrictions such as adding certain moves into a different part of a wrestler's moveset. An example of this would be to add the Shooting Star Press as a Ground Strike move. This would be a good move to give Johnny Nitro.
What you can't do: Even cheat devices have their limits. You can not use them to alter textures or colors. You can not use codes to create bizarre things such as creating fire or editting the physics of objects.

3. What is a (M)astercode?
A (M)astercode is an enable code and quite simply the MOST important code in your game's cheat directory. The (M)astercode should be your very FIRST entered code otherwise any code you enter afterwards will not work.

4. I have a cheat device but I don't know what the (M)astercode for SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007 is.
Click here for a list of (M)astercodes for different cheat devices.

5. How do I know if my cheat device can use the codes from this site?
The easiest way is to check what version you own. We at Code X offer codes for Codebreaker2 - v9.3, Gameshark2v3 - v5 (Media Player/ Broadband Enabled & the latest Gameshark2 v1.1+), Xploder - v5, & AR MAX 3.18+.

6. I see codes labeled as NTSC & PAL. What is the difference and which do I use?
We at Code X make codes for NTSC & PAL. NTSC & PAL are a difference in regions. NTSC covers North America (United States, Mexico, & Canada). PAL covers Europe (United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, etc.) Use the codes designated for your particular region.

7. I see codes divided into 4 sections, RAW - NTSC, RAW - PAL, AR MAX - NTSC, & AR MAX - PAL. I'm confused.
Don't be confused. The reason for the 4 sections is to make code searching easier for you. RAW is meant for devices such as CodeBreaker, GameShark, & Xploder. AR MAX is meant for...well AR MAX.

8. I noticed some codes labled as being for CB2 & GS2v3+ (NTSC), GS2v3+ (PAL) & Xploder, AR MAX (NTSC), & AR MAX (PAL). What codes do I use for my cheat device?
I'll break it down in a simple way to understand.
  • Codes labeled as CB2 & GS2v3+ (NTSC) are meant to be used for the NTSC versions of Codebreaker2 - v9.3 and GameShark2v3 - v5 (including Media Player, Broadband Enabled, & the latest versions GS2v1.1 - v2.1+).

  • Codes labeled as GS2v3+ (PAL) & Xploder are meant to be used for the PAL versions Xploder - v5 & GameShark2v3 - v5 (including Media Player, Broadband Enabled, & the latest versions GS2v1.1 - v2.1+).

  • Codes labeled as AR MAX (NTSC) are meant to be used for NTSC versions of AR MAX v3.18 - current.

  • Codes labeled as AR MAX (PAL) are meant to be used for PAL versions of AR MAX v3.18 - current.
