Stats DO affect gameplay in baseball games. Mariano Rivera's cutter is going to move more than say... Kyle Farnsworth's. But stats don't matter, right? Manny Ramirez obviously has more power, meaning harder hits. But even if I'm hitting with someone like Jamie Moyer, I should be able to crush it, right? Because stats don't matter, right?
What was the last MLB game you played anyway?

Clearly you didn't read my post/understand it. How can stats NOT affect the game? You have a better chance of hitting a homerun with Ryan Howard than you would with Chipper Jones. It doesn't matter how good or bad you are, Howard has a higher power stat. He's going to hit harder. Sounds to me like maybe you're just bad at baseball games and are grouping them all together. And you never answered what the last MLB game you played was.
