Eminem is bringing "Eminem Live From New York City," his uncensored sold-out concert event to Showtime this December.

The 75-minute performance was actually taped last August at the Madison Square Garden stop of last summer's blockbuster Anger Management 3 Tour.

The concert special features Eminem performing songs from his latest album Encore, as well as the hits that made him a star, including his Academy Award-winning "Lose Yourself" from 8 Mile.

The performance coincides with the Dec. 6 release of Eminem's greatest hits album, Curtain Call.

"Eminem Live from New York City" was helmed by Grammy-nominated director Hamish Hamilton, who has produced and directed specials for Madonna, U2, Peter Gabriel and Norah Jones. Hamilton also directed "One Night One Star: Usher Live," which was also aired exclusively on Showtime, in March 2005.

A little over a month ago, Eminem completed a treatment program at Detroit's Brighton Hospital, where he was rehabilitated for an addiction to sleeping medication. Eminem was forced to drop off the European leg of Anger Management Tour 3 in order to seek treatment.

In related news, Eminem's favorite for Detroit Mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick won a second term in the city elections this past Tuesday. This August, during the Anger Management Tour 3 concert in Detroit, Em gave Kilpatrick a quick endorsement.

"Eminem Live from New York City" will premier Saturday, December 3 at 9:00 PM (ET/PT).
