I will post two different songs and you guys tell me which one you would rather listen to. I want to see what people think. I'll post a different set every day or so. If I can remember to do it.

Heres the first one.

1. Disturbed - Land of Confusion

2. Godsmack - I Stand Alone

Solitare Unraveling. Mushroomhead is EASILY the superior band to Slipknot. And Slipknot ripped them off.

^No they didn't. Slipknot was a local band wearing masks before Mushroomhead even formed. Shawn Crahan has stated that on the Slipknot website again and again. He said they wore masks before the full linup was even reached in 1999. They have been wearing masks since 1992.

Heres the next set.

1. Creed - My Sacrifice

2. Alter Bridge - Rise Today

Neither. They're both awful.

And @ The Mushroomhead/Slipknot dispute. Sure, they may have been wearing masks, but Slipknot's debut masks were IDENTICAL to a lot of 'shroom's, who had been performing at bigger-ish shows for longer than Slipknot. Also, the large band line-up was done by Mushroomhead first, though that's not really a gimmick that can be complained about being stolen, because they both sound good. And lastly, Mushroomhead was wearing Jumpsuits before Slipknot started performing in Jumpsuits.

Mushroomhead has also been around for a long time, since 1993. And they were playing with Gwar just shortly after their first show. And Mushroomhead's first album came out in 1995, where as Slipknot didn't even have a demo until 1998. So, once again, Slipknot may have been wearing masks, but I'm willing to bet more than anything that they made changes to their masks when they debuted to resemble mushroomhead's (who didn't have a record deal yet... Despite the fact that they are better in every concievable way)

Only a few masks were copyied off of (if that). Also, many other bands have used masks (maybe not as closly resembling another bands but still used them). And I'll give you the jumpsuits but I can tell you that Mushroomhead has copied off of other bands the way you are saying it. The thing I'm thinking of is the "big band" thing has been done by Lynyrd Skynyrd. So both bands can be said to copy that. Slipknot has even stated that they have NEVER even heard of Mushroomhead until they were halfway done with their demo.

All the band members of Slipknot chose the masks they have because it in someway makes them angry and therefore makes them much heavier. Each one of the masks has a story behind it so I wouldn't so call it copying Mushroomhead as I would a reason to make the band better.

You should look them up. If you like Nu Metal to Metal thats a little bit heavier. They sound very similar in some songs and parts.

Heres the next set:

1. HURT - Rapture

2. Ra - Do You Call My Name

I haven't been on in a while so I haven't been posting these. In case I miss a day or so you guys can start adding a set every day or so, so I don't have to try and get on every day to do this.

________________________________________________________________________________

I'm even voting for this one. My vote goes 100% for HURT - Rapture. I love this song. They are an amazing band.
