I know he was in the WWE, which is why I said hardly. He is not a legend of the WWE by far.

That doesn't make sense. Sting is a legend in wrestling, but you can't call him a WWE legend.

I wouldn't really compare Mil to Flair either.

if wwe put sting in as legend. nobody would care because he is legend.

besides sting is true legend because he never left wcw like flair

So now you are saying Flair isn't a true legend? What? Just because someone leaves a company they aren't a legend? That makes no sense.

Garsh darn it. Another wrestling debate in the 09 forums.

Best guess I heard so far was Mike Rotunda though.

but he was irs in wwe. it is called selling out when you leave a company for more money with another company.

IE dudleys leave ecw 4 wwf, hall, luger, nash leave wwf 4 wcw .and many more.

thats why reggie miller was liked so much . he is only guy to stay with same team for 16 yrs in nba history.

but anyway thats way off topic

I hope it is marty jannety at least

I'm guessing that one of them is Marty Jannetty because it is based on tag teams, and 10 new legends so maybe him in a tag team with michaels

Possible Fits:
Marty Jannetty
Maryse
Masato Tanaka
Masked Kane
Mideon
Mike Awesome
Mike Knox
Mike von Erich
Mil Mascaras
1. It's possible that Marty Jannetty could be an unlockable superstar, but I don't think he's one of them. Besides, Shawn Michaels already has a partner in this game, and that's Triple H.

2. Masato Tanaka has never wrestled for WWE, except for when he appeared at ECW One Night Stand in '05 and '06.

3. If Masked Kane were to be in the game, it would be as an alternate attire for Kane.

4. I doubt that Mideon is one of the unlockable superstars. He's not all that great IMO.

5. I don't think Mike Awesome is one of the unlockable superstars.

6. Mike Von Erich never wrestled for WWE a day in his life. Why would THQ put him in the game? That's just silly.

7. Why would Maryse and Mike Knox have to be unlocked? There not that special. That just seems pointless to me.

I'm thinking that Mick Foley is one of the unlockable superstars. He must have been added to the game before he was released from WWE, and THQ just left him in. I have no I idea who the other unlockable superstar could be. I guess I'll just have to wait and find out.

I can only think of one rational explanation. I think that one of the superstar slots is for Mick Foley.

Very Unlikely Possibilities:
Masato Tanaka (ECW Legend)
Mideon (Not a Legend, but the name fit)
Mike Awesome (ECW Legend)
Mike Tyson (Eh, extremely unlikely, but the name fit)
Mike von Erich (Legend, they inducted the Von Erich's in to the Hall of Fame if I recall correctly)

The only new ones I could think of.

Actually mideon is not that far fetched because he is a legend by longevity of being in the business even before the WWF/E era. he was a former ECW/WCW champion. although he's not currently on WWE now. his history gladly earns him the right to be a legend. but i was gonna say mankind. mick foley."etc".... unfortunately i don't think vince will add him to SVR09 considering he joined up with TNA.

Unfortunately, we must either wait for these superstars to be revealed in the "Superstar Countdown" or until the game is released.
