Now the Hardcore match has been changed to Falls Count Anywhere match

Here:

Now if I read good, you can go backstage on this type of match like SYM game. Let's hope!

I don't think you should be thanking TNA, thank Yukes if they finally bring that feature back. Don't really get it when people say its TNA fault that they stepping up now. I mean why can't they make better games to get a better reputation and get more money and stuff like that?

Because they never do that really. Now that they have competition, they have to.

How is it competition? It's just another game. So what if someone else is making a different game? It's not like just because they have TNA game, there not going to buy the new SVR game. I mean yeah there competition in like business, but its just one other wrestling game. It's not like the end of the world for THQ & Yukes because EA is making a wreslting genre game.

They can't handle the thought of being the number two wrestling game. Having Competition anywhere forces you to either quit, or improve. They haven't had competition, since backyard wrestling maybe. And theat was hardly competition.

lmao, where is people getting this weird information from?
They won't take silver, they must have the gold at all cost. [/Olympic reference]
lol like its just another game, I say they don't really give a crap about it really. And maybe people just want it to be a feud because of the wrestling atmosphere. One shall go on, and one shall die. lol like seriously.

It's obvious that it's due to competition. If it wasn't why wouldn't they have added this stuff before? Just another game? It is the video game of the WWE's only real competition. I think they will take it as a threat. They have even admitted to having to step up do to competition. (Yukes that is) What more proof is needed?

Maybe because they they want to make a better game so people can buy it so they can make money? Why this cannot be an option? I mean yeah I don't like 08, but 07 was a good game, so was 06 and basically everything before it. The only game I really can't stand was 08.

If they want to make a better game, why did they not do much on 08? But, in an interview with one of the heads of Yukes I believe, he pretty much admitted to being lazy without competition.

So they make a bad game. So because of ONE game, the only thing they can do is just compete with TNA for....wrestling genre dominance? lol that sounds sort of silly

Dday, I believe it was in this video: http://www.videogame...r.html?vid=2304

That he practically admits to being lazy without competition.

Trademark, I'm not sure if they will still have Extreme rules. With this one added. Although, this just replces Hardcore. So, it could go either way.

TNA is looking whack in my eyes

No Knockouts
1 Finisher
Gameplay looks really bad

I think it was in the Wii Mag scans

Also, it would take more than a simple video of some weird Japenese developer to show that they want to beat TNA ratings into the dirt, they don't even need to do anything at the moment. TNA did it themselves

Nice find there. AHA!! I was right about using teh stares in a match. Still not a big deal though.

I could have sworn that he said something about it. But, they didn't know how TNA would turn out in the beginning, so they were forced to step up there game really.

But why step up just because there making a game? I mean yeah I could understand why they would, but like there #1 goal in the making of this game isn't in just...selling more games than TNA. I mean like people could easily just buy them both. $60 bucks really isn't anything, its not like buying a car or something. I say that the new TNA game at most motivated them....maybe. Idk. But I'm really fed up though of people just bashing THQ & Yukes and noone is standing up for them.

I mean I said it before...damn 08 sucked I really really don't even like that game, it was horrible for PS2. Its trash. But look at there other games in the series. 07 was ok, 06 was great, and everything before that, people love them, there considered classics.

It was definitely one of the leading factors into it though. Adding these things that fans have been asking for for years and what not. We will never know what 09 would have been like without the TNA game, but I don't think I want to know.

God... I hope the backstage areas are like they were in KYR, JBI, and SYM. Those were great. I loved how they were all connected.
