He was great. He had the look, the skill and WWE just threw it all away.

I'd go with Chris Kanyon. Never really was used properly. The guy was a fantastic wrestler, great seller, pretty good on the stick, etc. I remember watching him in WCW and was amazed by the fact that he would debut a new move almost every week, he had such a large repertoire of moves you almost literally never knew what he was going to do outside of his signature maneuvers.
I also have to mention William Regal, the guy is all around great. Probably the best wrestler in the WWE today, he's great on the stick, etc. He's so perfect as a bad ass heel, he could easily be a main eventer holding a world title. I know he was on the verge of being pushed a few times when he went and messed it all up, but they really should have been doing more with him long before he made those mistakes.

May i also add Johnny Saint. The guy is a masterclass, its a shame maybe even 3% of the Wrestling Community have seen his work.

He was good like 10 years ago, but he brings nothing to the table anymore... It's sad but true. He will never get released though because he is loved backstage by all the top dogs.

I also make no apologies for liking extremely talented wrestlers, especially in an age where talent is becoming less and less of a necessity to be a wrestler, at least in WWE.
Also, saying he is in terrible shape is a god damn joke. Some of the greatest wrestlers were never in very "great shape". Did Mr. Perfect, Ted Dibiase, Bret Hart, Owen Hart, etc. have wash board abs? Did they have large muscles? No. Shit, Yokozuna was a large fat man whom was far from being a great wrestler, though he was good for a man his size and deceivingly agile as well, and he is considered by many to be a Legend. Don't bring up his physic when it's perfectly fine, especially for a man his age. Especially when he is probably in the best shape he's ever been in his career.
Is this seriously considered "terrible shape"? God forbid someone have a realistic body these days.
As for charisma, Regal has plenty of it, especially befitting that of an old school heel, which he easily fits the mold of. He was especially great around the time of him winning the King of the Ring and being the super heel GM of Raw.
How anyone can think Regal is anything short of great is beyond me.

Regal deserves Main Event status, and the only reason he isn't there is because personal issues have taken over his life in the past.

This is Possibly the most ridiculous thing you have ever said. I usually agree with you Rob, but this makes no sense.
I can understand that you like Regal, and have been a fan of him for a while... the reality is that Regal is a 41 year old man that's body is in terrible condition. I'm not saying he is the worst in the locker room... If he was facing off against Cena for some reason I would have Regals side in a blink... only because its a FACT Regal has more in ring talent. He is good on the Mic, draws heat... but his body is just f***ed... in every aspect. He's out of shape, and probably has more nagging injuries than anyone on ECW. When you compare him to people who actually have amazing talent in the WWE like Morrison, Sydal, Benjamin and stacks more... it makes more sense. These men are in the prime of their careers. These man are in tremendous shape. These men have a long future with WWE... Regal is coming towards the end of his career, and thank god. Let him finish up in ECW so he can leave with a bit of dignity, but he's past his prime... and he is DEFINATLY not the only one in the WWE.

The last foreigner to hold the WWE title (bar Canadians). Andre the Giant, '88.
The last foreigner to hold the WHC (bar Canadians). Khali '07.
Another reason why Vince will not allow Regal to hold the top title.
