If you are, put a link in your sig titled "LOL", it will eventually get around.
PS. Please don't turn this into lol vs. lat V2.
PPS. I'm not saying don't ever use lol again, I'm just saying use mas if you aren't laughing but are amused.

Even if you do use the argument that "it means laughing out loud, so if you use it when you're not actually laughing out loud, you're lying", though, thats still not entirely accurate.
The acronym "LOL" also meant "Lots Of Love" at one point, whether at the same time or before "Laughing Out Loud" I can't say, but its usage died out as the latter became more popular. But, if you are to argue that a word has a set definition and its meaning cannot change as people's intended meaning changes, then anytime that anyone uses "LOL" they are technically telling you "lots of love" as well as "laughing out loud", and so unless either can be proven to have come first, its meaning becomes totally unclear.
Unfortunately, since in your world of words with one meaning, I'm afraid your new word MAS is unclear as well, as you could be refering to a number of different places, phrases and things:

You'll have to select a new acronym.
