DIRK NOWITZKI MID-RANGE 99?!

They need a new ratings guy, stat.

EDIT: DREW GOODEN MID-RANGE 91?! ZACH RANDOLPH MID-RANGE 69?! It might seem that I'm banging on about mid-range jumpers, but if you watch the video, it's all bad.

Dirk rarely misses from Mid-Range.

Too lazy to watch the whole video. I'm assuming Boozer's in the low 80's now. Hopefully Deng gets more respect after his stellar season. And of course Rose. Should be the highest rated PG in the game. 25 and 8 is nothing short of phenomenal.

I know that Dirk can sink them all day, I just think that people may find it unfair that it's 99, e.g. If people were playing online. Low 90's would be suffice IMO.

Boozer is 77 OVR, a bit low and Paul is better than Rose (accoring to Visual Concepts and the mad boner they have for him). Paul is 93 OVR while Rose is 92.

Paul is a 93 when completely healthy, which is NEVER the case anymore. His knees are fucked.

Boozer at 77? Ouch. Love his new look in the game though. They got his beard right. Changed his face finally.

Yeah, it's a great thing that Boozer's face got changed, but it's even better that Derek Fisher doesn't look like Boozer anymore.

But why do the legends gotta always get extremely high ratings every game? I recall 90's West Shaq getting a mid-80's OVR rating back in 2K10, now the 90's Lakers Shaq gets mid-90's.

They're legends. Deserve the high ratings, especially when compared to people as soft as Pau getting in the high 80's. Hakeem, Wilt, Kareem, and especially Russell deserve to be 95+.

Shaq during his time on the Lakers was one of the best Centers of All-Time. Just brute muscle. Pretty much unstoppable. Hence the three-peat, which was more Shaq then Kobe.

Bottom of the barrel old-school players get more than they should and I feel that they try to make the best of now and all-time seem like superheroes just because it's a videogame, but I do see your point.

EDIT: And Demar Derozan is 69 OVR *facepalm*

The ratings system is always trash in the 2K series... More so because you can get a high rating with offensive and defensive awareness stat more than anything, which is one of the most vaguely defined stats you can have. So yeah, I think if they just did away with those 2 stats it would be ok. And maybe a few others.
