I read on Cory Ledesma's Twitter that Create-An-Arena is confirmed. A fan from Axxess has played WWE 12 and created a few arena himself.

I also heard that you can't create your own stage, just the ring & surrounding areas.

Will be making a fancy pink/purple one for sure. Just hoping we can use custom logos.

Yeah that is freaking awesome. I wonder how many you can create. And I would love to make an arena that is outside.

EDIT: Hhhmmm...I wonder if you can edit the titantron and the stage.

Check out the caws.ws gallery for this.

Judging by some of their photos it looks you can change everything in and around the ring as much as you want. As for the stage, the one screen they have of the stage area looks pretty generic but what I'd assume is that you get to choose between different parts of the stage area and build a unique looking arena from parts of the arenas that are in the game and/or ones based on past WWE/WCW arenas.

Anyone remember the WWE Attitude games create an arena mode? I think it will work partly like that for the stage, where you mix and match parts of the arenas that are on the disc. I could be wrong though.

I do. That was the best. I've still got WCW Mayhem on PS1!

I wanted to create an arena as the entire arena as one giant titantron circling the arena. And I wanted no audience, or an audience of druids like in Takers RTWM.

Apparently Cory Ledesma has responded to a question about the stage area on his twitter and he basically says that there is only one stage. So you can customize everything around the ring but the actual stage area that the superstars come out of CANNOT be changed, there is that one stage area as seen in the caws.ws photos and that is it.

Lame. :ermm:

It will take a few years for this to become a good feature.

I'm glad they are letting us play with what is virtually a "demo" version of the create an arena but like some of the modes we've had before that have been "demo" type situations - I just wish they could finish them in time to give us something like the finished article on these new modes.

I know you have to leave room to progress and I agree it will be a feature that grows into its own as it goes on but they had to know that people would be pissed about only being able to alter the areas in and around the ring to begin with.
