[Stoneheart]

Born inside a womb of lies
misery tears it's part from me
it's getting colder inside
strangled by the cord that gives me life
you watch in horror as I scream in pain
everything fades to black as I fall down
All I seem to do is burn in blood & fire
drowning in aggression through tubes of rage
over & over these holes still burn
stabbed by the wires and blinding light
you watch in disbelief as I rip my heart out
all that remains are screams bleeding in the dark
Anguish dances with the rings of fire
so I just keep tearing a piece of myself

With everything that I'm dealing with, I need to take a long break from my poetry, it's taking
me to a place where I don't wish to go. Anyway, I've started on a new series of short stories I hope
to turn into a novel. Thanks for the support Jess.
