Could someone please tell me how to go about changing crowd signs.
I got the program but I don't know exactly what to do. I can view
the files and extract them, but then what? What program do I use to recognize them. Alittle help would be much appreciated.

Then let me wet you appetites. The following the I have done (as seen in these pictures) is thanx to Draven and the GamingXP personel who have gave links to the programs and offered help. The following are belt textures that I have taken from pictures of replica belts online and placed over the belt plates in game. And then the last pic is of a match between myself, RVD with the ECW T.V. title, and Carlito. Just a few minutes into the match we were battling on the top of the ladder and Carlito hit me with a hip toss off to the outside of the ring. I couldn't recover so he climbed the ladder and took my title! I bet he thought that it was "Cool"! The pic is of RVD's entrance with the title, and then Carlito's victory celebration with the title.

These are thumbnailed through ImageShack so just click on them for the full size pics.

Never mined I found out where the belts are. DUH :)

I figrued it out only things is now everytime I add something

This is all great guys but i'd love to be able to do it myself.

It would be great if you could place a tutorial on the site somewhere.

I'm just wondering about the old school IC title there. Could you replace the current IC title with it?

DBZbud: I only use 2 programs besides the Game Graphic Studio (extracts inserts the textures from the game's ISO), and they are MSPaint (Windows) and Irfanview (free, you can get it from downloads.com). With the belts, you need to find a plate in the game that is shaped closely to the plate you want to insert. Like the WWF Winged Eagle and the ECW World and T.V. titles are pretty round, so I replaced the WWF Attitude plates with them, and the John Cena U.S. spinner plate as well. If you assign them to a non-similar plate, they'll most likely be shaped funny.

The reason your colors mess up though is because the belt textures are an 8-bit texture file, while you are probably trying to insert something more advanced than that. I get whatever plate (I used real pictures of replica belts) that I'm going to insert and clean off anything that isn't the main plate (the leather belt from around it is an example). You then rotate the plate 270 degrees with MSPaint and place it to where it meets the screen in the top right corner or the "canvas". Then you pull the rest of the "box" up to meet the left and bottom side of the pic. Do not use MSPaint to shrink your plate because it will garble it very badly. Most plates that I used took up 3 - 5 inches of the computer screen. Then you make sure any open area around the belt is blacked in. Save this pic as "X" or whatever on the desktop. Then you will open the image with Irfanview. Go to the "Image" toolbar up to an "Resize/Resample". Uncheck the "Preserve aspect ratio box" and set the new size to 128 x 128. Then recheck the ratio box. Now hit ok. Your belt plate will now be the same size as the in game plates. Now go back to "Image" and "Decrease color depth..". Set it to "256 Colors (8 BPP)" which is 8 - bit color. This will preserve the belts entire color, but have it seen as 8-bit. Now I'm assuming you know how to place it back?

NLackey: As far as I know, the whereabouts of the WWE belts ingame has yet to be found. I've looked through what Game Graphic Studio would open for me and haven't found them. But if they are found, then it would most likely be possible.

Thanks for the response. That sounds great. I had a look through them myself and couldn't find it either. Let's hope we get them soon. I'd love to see the likes of Carlito etc hold up the old school IC title.

Another thing I was thinking would it be possible to add more belts than is already in the game by editing the memory etc. I mean like you could have current IC title and the old school one too as seperate titles :)

Thanks for the help. I had to do the spinner US belt to.
I will add the rest of the belts as well. One qucik question
doen anybody think it would be possible to change the
text fonts or the CAW logos and signs that we get to
put on cloths. If so that would be even better. Thanks again for
the help.

What does it mean when it says The new texture is completely
transparent. I know what transparent means but why is it like that.

Thanks for uploading the program.

A tutorial would be nice so people can learn to do it on their own.

The problem with making a patch upgrade is that it probably wouldn't appeal to everyone since I'd probably like to keep some of the stuff being replaced.

DBZbuD: On the transparency thing. Here's what I do. 1st make sure that you have the belt you want to replace showing (where you can see the texture in your list). Now open your file so that it's shown in the window with the color editing boxes, and when it tells you about being transparent, just hit o.k. Now make sure only the 1st two boxes (data and rgb, but not alpha) are checked. Right click (hold) and drag your texture over the belt you want to replace and that should put your texture into its place. Next, select the belt before or after yours so that it is shown in the editing pane. Now on this texture you want to only have the alpha box checked. Now right click (drag) this over your belt texture. You should see that you texture did not change. You have just copied a default in-game belt's transparency over your added texture which makes your belt visible in-game. I've had trial and error and got this working on SD vs. Raw (2005) before 2006 came out. See if this helps you.

There is a new mod that can use Harddrive for your normal ps2 and slim ps2! You can put games in the harddrive then play it on your ps2 by USB without wasting your dvd for changing stuff like music in WWE Smackdown! VS Raw 2006! I haven't got one yet so I might get one.
