Because they can't make a game that pleases everyone. Some people like the new running system, others hate it, others don't care.

You've got to be kidding me. I didn't think the game was worth buying, but I did play the demo and the free run was one of the best improvements they made in my opinion. It was garbage before being stuck only being able to run in straight lines.

Well, lets just say that I'm really looking forward to what TNA has to offer.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Do not put your faith into the TNA game. It's being developed by the team that made Backyard Wrestling and so far it's looking far too similar to me except that they ditched the whole backyard thing.

I'm not big fan of SvR 08 the runn system is good but I found one fall (game wise) when YOU try to bouce of the ropes (which could be the reason why Slayerfan doens't like it) it doesn't work (I'd swich direction on D-Pad for it to work/look good) but in real life it realistic so to speak since you bounce of the rope in a sling shot style/fassion.

When I was being tought about it they was saying somehting on the lines of don't run off them lean into them and shoot your self accross (using your weight) and also take big steps lol but won't go into that.

Yeah, you got a point there. I noticed it too. Its like they hit the ropes then jog instead of start running the ropes.

I like being able to run where ever I want but I miss being able to just hit triangle and run toward my opponent.

Overall though I like the new running system.
