Will TNA Be On The PS2????

I don't know I just looked at IGN and the promom trailer isn't on the PS2 page but it is on the 360 and PS3

this games graphics seem to be mostly done for next gen consoles and it would prolly be even worse as far as speed than svr07 on ps2...no ps2 for this game HOPEFULLY

i know there is a ign ps2 tna game thing so it should be on ps2 but im getting it on 360.

I sure hope so otherwise I wont be abled to play

it would be a smart move to put it on PS2 becuz then the people without Xbox or PS3 will buy this instead of SvR08

TNA iMPACT! will be released on PS2, Xbox, Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The date is To Be Announced, but planned for sometime in 2007.

yeh ps2 is getting old so if you want the tna game i suggest going for either 360 or ps3

its gonna be pretty soon when the PS2 stops getting games for example PS2=No GT 5, GT HD, no GTA IV, no SD Vs Raw 08, No Metal Gear Solid 4, most of the games are gonna be for 360 and PS3. the PS2 is probrably from now to 2008, it cant last longer...

After a period of negotiation with Electronic Arts and Rockstar Games, TNA signed a multi-year agreement with Midway Games on November 7, 2005.

On March 2, 2006, Midway announced that it would release the first TNA video game in history for each of the seventh generation consoles.

On June 6, 2006, TNA announced that wrestlers Samoa Joe and A.J. Styles, both self-described "hardcore gamers", would be meeting with Midway to brainstorm game ideas. Additionally, motion capture work will begin soon for the game, involving Jeff Jarrett and A.J. Styles. In an interview with IGN.com, Samoa Joe has said that he lives close to Midway Studios Los Angeles and stops in whenever he has time to see how the game is coming and give the team at Midway new ideas. He says "They are very receptive to my ideas."

Scans of the members of the TNA roster occurred during a taping for TNA iMPACT! on October 23, 2006.[2] They also previewed the model for A.J. Styles to be used in the game. Those shown the model were reportedly "blown away" by the detail of the model, which included a scar from a busted lip sustained by Styles in a match by Samoa Joe earlier in the year. The boos, cheers, and various chants were also captured by computer for use as the official audio in the game.[3]

The game's trailer debuted during the 2006 Spike TV Video Game Awards on December 13, 2006

it says for the Seventh Generation Systems but IDK about PS2
Xbox 1, PS2,GameCube are all Sixth Generation

yea dude ps2 is 7 years old, 360-1 yr old ps3-1 month old wii-one month old-do the math by 2008 all ps2 games are gonna be under 30 dollars, so the game companys are gonna focuse on the 7th generation systems(360,PS3,WII) and the PS2 by Mid 2008 is gonna be 8 years old and 6 months. the PS1 came out 95 and it went out of style by the end of 99. so those who dont have a 360,Ps3,WII if you want this game try to get it as soon as this game comes out or before that so your ready
