Just a random thread were we can all talk about current wrestling news or shows. Just like the old days.

If you have not seen RAW yet or have not heard. Jerry Lawler suffered a Heart Attack (or stroke) live on RAW. Without a commentary team RAW feels empty. Get well soon Lawler.

Punk, Cena. Punk has had a great title run. In fact it is one of the best title runs in a long while. But with The Rock being in the Royal Rumble this brings a problem and question. Do we really want CM Punk to drop his title to the Rock at Rumble and Do we really want Rock, Cena 2 at Wrestlemania.

There was a lot of hype behind Rock vs Cena, and when they both got into the Ring at mania. The match was......okay. Nothing special and a bit of a let down (just like TDKR but that is for anoter topic). I don't want to see Rock vs Cena again. What I would like to see is, as much as this kills me to say, Cena win the title at NOC, drop it to Rock at rumble (because Cena or Punk is going to face The Rock anyway), and then Rock vs Punk to headline mania. Also a PPV in the UK...please Vince....please.

Thoughts?

That Lawler stuff was scary. I noticed during the Kane/Bryan match that something was going on at the table and made jokes and stuff, but then when I found out what really was going on back there I felt like a douche. It was so eerie not having any commentary for the last hour. Hope Jerry gets well soon.

The problem with Cena winning at NoC and then dropping it to The Rock at the Rumble is that then the score will be Rock: 2 Cena: 0, not a good look for the poster boy. I just can't see Rock beating Cena for a second time.. unless he decided to come back full time, which is unlikely. So right now I'm thinking Punk retains at NoC, gets his year long reign, and defeats The Rock at the Rumble with help from Lesnar. Then they could go a couple different ways with this for Mania.. Rock/Punk, Rock/Punk/Cena or Rock/Brock. I would go with the triple threat and let Brock go against Taker (the seeds are already planted after all). Easily I could see Cena winning the triple threat, finally ending Punk's reign.. by pinning Rock. This would give an easy way to continue Cena/Punk story while The Rock goes away again.

Of course my views on all of this could change as time goes on, but for now, I could see it going down something like that.

I was really saddened to hear about what happened to Jerry Lawler on Raw last night, I hope he pulls through.

On a side I've really go to give credit to Michael Cole last night he was very professional, it must have been a hard job to do and he looked really shaken up.

Michael Cole did a excellent job last night. Very professional, gave updates and you just have to respect him for it.

I had no idea this happend until I seen this topic. Someone asked me that night if I wanted to watch Lawler wrestle and of course I said no. I hate the fact that Cole did nothing it seems to me and I know some people will defend him maybe it is something I didn't see but the videos I seen was Lawler bent over and you can hear him trying to catch his breath. I am not sure what Cole could of done but I felt like he could of did something. I hope he makes a full recovery. I did read he is doing well but still in crucial condition.

Cole did do something, he was the one that shouted the paramedics and muted Lawlers mic. Lawler should make a full recovery, the latest that I heard he was walking today for the first time since monday.

I'm glad to hear Jerry is well now.

How great was it to hear JR back on commentary last night!? It was a good show altogether I think.
