if you play guitar, bass, rap, deejay, sing, or whatever the hell.. here is your thread to whore (i mean, share..) your music to everyone else on the site. whether you have works in progress to get feedback on, finished songs or albums, or just want to talk about things related to creating music.. this is the thread.

One rule to make everything fair.. before you post something you've made, you must give feedback to the person above you!!! doesn't have to be anything in-depth or special, just give them a (constructive) comment of some sort. and of course, we encourage you to leave feedback for everyone!

i'm going to merge a few of the latest threads that fall into this category to keep everything organized.

I was just looking at this kids Myspace who I know and used to talk to all the time via the internet. I noticed his soundclick page and a found an old song that him and I did together a while ago. Now when I say awhile, I mean like 3 years ago (I said I was 16 in the track and I'm 19 now). Just sort of made me realise how far I've actually came as a rapper. It was back when I used to just throw rhymes together, and just try to make it has hardcore as possible. Its even back when I was called Devil. Listen to the song just for fun.

Click "play hi-fi" in order to listen. I'm the first first in case you didn't know. I'm also glad that I found a good microphone to record with, lol.

All you need to be a rapper in the new millennium is a USB microphone and an internet connection. -_-

You can "acquire" a program called Vitrual DJ or Fruity Loops. There is a website where you can create your own beats.

@TRS, ya I know what FL stands for.

I don't care if it's ilegal or legal as long as I get something.

Your voice could be heard and that's a huge plus. I hate it when the beat is louder that the rapper, or "artist" :P

Nice song, but one thing I thought was whack was the "faster than a automatic gun" line... really? An automatic gun? Come on Rich you can think of something more clever...

Lol I had a completely different second verse and it was wack to me, so I scrapped it completely. Then the last 4 lines of the new second verse was pretty much made up as I was recording. Like I freestyled the last 4 lines of the second verse. Just be thankful I wasnt able to record last night or you woulda sat through a whole wack verse.

I'm not really feeling this. The beat doesn't really seem to suit you, your flow on it just seems a little...off to me. The lyrics itself wasn't bad, but there is just something about this song and you rapping on it that doesn't really seem to work for me.

C. Rich: your quality sounds infinitely better on that song than the last thing i heard from you. your flow on the first verse, if it was acapella, would be like technically perfect, but it didn't match the flow of the bass and drums of the beat so well, if you know what i mean.. sway your voice a little more.. your second verse sounds just right though. pretty good job on this.

Im diggin that beat Mak

I like how the drums kinda faded in outta nowhere and the sounds all added together. Boy ever since i really got into this, i can isolate each sound and im still tryna learn how to do them all at once for myself. But about how long it take you to do that one or average time for any beat you make? Good listen, it was somethin different and smooth.

And as a writer, i wanna hop on it too ;)

be my guest if you want to use it.

i can take anywhere from 20 minutes to over 2 hours making a beat. all depends how I'm feeling the sample. this one came quickly. (thats what she said)
