Kanye made some new singles and there kind of sounding more like R&B than hip-hop. I'm not so sure if I like it myself but I mean maybe one or two songs like this would be ok, but now its looking like the whole album is going to be like an R&B genre. What do you guys think of the new sound?

IDK about you, but I'm hoping the album that's coming out in June will be the old Kanye I used to know. I heard the intro and some leaked songs off the album coming in December, and it sounds like its going to be a nice album but not a typical album.

I dislike his new style, and autotune in general.

^^Couldn't agree more. Kanye went from being a really good rapper, to a egocentric arrogant prick, who makes horrible music and likes to fallow stupid trends.

I should agree. I mean I have no clue where he came from with that. It was nice to see it at the VMA's and its really a Hate it or Love it type of move, but he can lose alot of fans with that. With that being said, his two singles are on top of the iTunes list, so he must be doing something right.

I'm just hoping this is a one album phase until he gets back on track. His first 3 albums are classics IMO, this one will probably suck.

I totally agree. There is an album release that's being talked about for June already. Hopefully the old Kanye would be back by then. He is still doing some raps, barely, like Go Hard, and Therapy with T-Pain.

I hated too, he did it in one song and ran with it, maybe his failure will be a wake-up call that not every single thing you do will be great..........

Its okay, not as good as his "usual" self but its not horrible either. I really like his new lyrics though, especially in Heartless.

Disagree, no way could I call either Late Registration or Graduation a classic.

Late registration was a classic in my eyes, he just went beast on that album, graduation he did okay but it was more so a "i'm still alive album"

This man speaks truth. Maybe I should clarify.

In terms of ranks, CD is a class 2 classic while LR & Graduation are a class 3 classic. (With 1 being the best)

I have received the album or an advance on it, (Track 1 & 9 skips alot) but I must admit that I like it for me personally. It's definitely not going to be a hip-hop album, its more like pop/r&b. The whole album goes smoothly from song to song, one song I suggest to listen to is Robocop. One of my faves.

I'm not really sure but I did see it on iTunes.

The album I'm listening to is the leaked version.

Yeah, thats something that I don't like about Kanye, he is an arrogant ****. Before he got signed with Def Jam, he was working a normal job in Chicago and had to go out to NY to meet with another label that was interested in signing him, so he quit his job thinking he would get signed, but he didn't. The point of the story is that Kanye is full of himself, and what ever he does people will like.
