OK, the last few times I put hacks on this game, something weird has happened.

I put in the codes I wanted to use (they were savable show modifiers), had a title match or something so I could save it, turned off my PS2 and went to bed. Next day I got up and turned on my PS2 and looked at my roster and it had reverted to the original roster for some reason, despite the fact I saved the game. What happened? Is there something wrong with my console or the game?

First of all, did you save them on a different profile? When I used to use codes on WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2006, I had two profiles. One clean with no codes used what so ever and one hacked with updated roster saves and other codes.

Second, did you use the correct show/brand modifiers? There are ones for Exhibition and ones for GM Mode. Check to make sure you used the correct ones.

Exhibition Only

GM Mode Only

I think I have the only 1 profile that I know of and I used the Exhibition ones.

EDIT: OK, I checked. I have a second profile but the cheats were not saved onto that profile.

Start the game with the codes on you want. Instead of doing a title match and then saving after, go to the options and save the game that way.

I think I figured it out. I put on the codes I want, saved it after I made a CAW and restarted. I went to Options and pressed Load Game Data (it loads data from the last save) and I got my cheats back! Problem is, I have to do this every time.

It should save and load without having to do all that. Load the codes and save the game. Do nothing else, no CAW's, no title matches and then turn the PS2 off. Restart the game and the codes should be saved and load straight away.
