Latest $15 add-on for Treyarch's Call of Duty period shooter two weeks out for Sony fans and the computer crowd.

The Annihilation downloadable content for Treyarch's blockbuster hit Call of Duty: Black Ops was released for the Xbox 360 late last month. PlayStation 3 and PC gamers have had to wait, because of the recently renewed timed exclusivity deal Microsoft and Activision have for Call of Duty map packs. However, the wait is nearly over, as Activision has announced that the Annihilation map pack will hit the PS3 and PC on July 28.

The $15 Annihilation map pack--which was first rumored as the Retaliation map pack--contains four new multiplayer maps and one fresh zombie level. The new killing spaces included in the downloadable content are Hangar 18, Silo, Drive-In, and Hazard. The zombie level is titled Shangri-La, described by Activision as "an exotic and mysterious map."

Previously released Black Ops map packs include First Strike and Escalation, which were first released in February and May respectively.

While Call of Duty games Modern Warfare 2 and World at War welcomed two and three postrelease add-on packs respectively, Black Ops might up the ante and bring a fourth. Last month, Treyarch design director David Vonderhaar told gamers to "keep [their] eyes peeled" for a fourth Black Ops map pack.

They really need to make a bundle for all these add ons...I mean even the ones from CoD: MW and W@W are still $15. They either should decrease the price or make a bundle pack.

Sniping isn't the same in Black Ops as it was in MW2
