I use a progam called ZD Soft Screen Recorder, it's very usefull, and it's free. 
I got mine from Download.com, so check there.

You can try WinAVI Video Capture. It works with a webcam, if you have one. And this program is free; No limitations:

I tried the program you suggested Jeff but it doesn't seem to work, so I'll say something that I think may have some of you confused. I was looking for capturing video from my computer and not pluging anything into it. So like when I play FEAR I would want to capture that.
