First of all, I know the developers don't really take peoples ideas into full consideration. But this is just what i'd like to see in the next SVR game.

Also, this thread will be updated daily. That way, all my ideas will be evenly spread out, and I can think of them more.

Theme
*********
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 will have a theme based on storylines. With this theme, the Road to WrestleMania, Career and Storyline Designer will receieve major advancements. Along with the storyline updates, new control systems will be added, to make gameplay more challenging and fun.

Road To Wrestlemania will be largely updated. It will now include many more stories, ranging from 15-20. All the stories will last for an entire season, from the day after WrestleMania, up until the next one. All characters will be represented accuratly, with the superstars real voices. All storylines will depend on choices made by you to move on. And instead of certain superstars only being able to go for certain titles, you get to chose the championship you want to go after

Career mode will be completly new. It'll be like a story mode for CAWS. Take your CAW through and endless career in WWE. Contains cutscenes and options for you to chose what happens next, and what your character does. Even select how and when your CAW debuts in the WWE. Earn points every week by completing these tasks to increase your superstars stats, and make your CAW the best the world has ever seen.

Storyline Designer will be made better. Instead of just chosing from a list of scenes, you can now chose where you are, and completly position your superstars. You can have superstars come out to interfere when another is in the ring talking, and much more. Basically, it's just getting more feautres, more areas, and a lot better.

Controls will be revamped and renewed. For one, everything will be either easier or harder to do, depending on the action.

In a nutshell, that'd be great but let's be realistic here, it's THQ. If they were really
focused on producing a really great game, it would've happened years ago.
Don't get me wrong, the series from SYM-SVR'07 was great, it really was. That
was then is this is now, I pretty much stop believing in a company that's more
focused on profit margin than quality control. Is this gonna prevent me from
purchasing future WWE games, probably not.

I can literally type up a list of things I missed from previous entries that should
go back into the series now, it'll never happen, unless... Without a doubt, season/
story mode is important, I don't know about you but finishing a 3 month RTW is
exactly fun, unless you like to play it over and over again. I really like the season
modes for SYM & HCTP, those were really fun to play. Me personally, it'd be cool
if the stories lasted years instead of months.

I suppose they figured since the story designer was added, that would compensate for the short RTW stories, in my opinion anyway. As far as coming up with superstar rosters, it's next to impossible to know whether that particular
superstar(s) will even be around when the game comes out. I know I've said it countless times but still, I get tired of seeing weapons disappear into this air like
I'm playin a flippin Harry Potter game, lol. The same goes for the blood too, I know
PS2 has limitations but still, really ?

There was alot of really cool things the past entries had that current generation
doesn't, not only they keep removing things in the game each year. I really
like going backstage and encountering the various WWE superstars and seeing
what would happen, I'd love to see that come back, along with a few others.

Besides "making everything better" I say.....

-Get rid of the mixed tag match. That match is one extremely lame piece of crap and with the time it took THQ to put that match in while making sure women can never face men but can be allowed in three matches more than previous years would have been better spent putting in a match we actually would have fun playing. Personally for me, a bullrope match would be a thousand times better than some terrible mixed tag match.

-The limitations on women. Past games women could fight men.....2010, women can't fight men but they can compete in more matches........That's not a fair trade off. THQ used to allow women in all matches AND be able to face men so that's how it should keep going already. WWE wouldn't have that much of a problem with it as long as THQ keeps putting in that DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME warning from now on.

-The attribute system needs to change. No more leveling people up! I don't mind winning matches, getting points, then assigning them freely but this whole do this, do that way is annoying and makes building CAWs into a chore. Also, there should be packs or unlimited attributes you unlock after doing a tough challenge so you can build CAWs freely without having to build each one up.

-Being able to edit CAWs downloaded off the community. This is a huge gripe for a lot of people and I can see why. Downloading a CAW would be EASIER but somehow THQ made it nearly impossible to like this especially when you can't change anything which really sucks if it's a new wrestler and he's using a certain moveset and attire but then after you d/l him, he changes his gimmick and you can't change a damn thing about it.

Ok, as for you who said the games haven't been good since 08 and on, I don't agree.

I honestly think they get better every year. I just got the PS2 version of 2010, and love it. There are a few flaws, but it's impossible to make a perfect game.

Oh, and about Kennedy being gone for a while, and Dreamer recently wrestling his last match. Kennedy is still one of the better recently released guys. I could put Eugene, since he did just recently get a new contract with WWE, but left it right afterwards.

And for Dreamer, I don't watch ECW much anymore, so I didn't know.

Anyways, I updated the lists for today. Since it's my birthday, I had a little extra time, and put more new stuff.

The PS2 is draining it. Scrap it and focus on PS3 and 360.

Also, I just noticed you have Cody Rhodes as the worst on RAW in your Sig... Are you insane dude?

Cody Rhodes sucks.

Also, I believe if they make it happen, the PS2 can work fine with the others.

The system that's draining it is the DS. The game is horrible and not even worth playing. PS2 is a good version. At least one more year should have PS2, especially since some people cannot afford a better system, like me

I thought that Smackdown started going down the crapper awhen SvR07 was out. Look at SvR06 and 07 there both nearly the same. THQ formula is to improve on ONE feature per year. In the time THQ they can't make a good game. I stop believing in THQ a long time ago. Its okay adding all these features but where is the freedom, fun and where is the improvements to the core gameplay. Is good having advanced creating tools but when your CAW can't wrestler a match cause the engine sucks and the controls are just do complicated.Who wants to press 50 buttons to do a move. All SvR is getting slower, what happened to the days you could run up a ladder in seconds. THQ need to stop making the game SUPA REALZZ and have some fun.

Oh and the PS2 you do know that Sony have started to remove the Playstation 2 oh there game release calendar for this year (2010) http://uk.playstatio...lease-calendar/.

Yes, but they've said that 2010 isn't the PS2's last game for the series.

Also, even if the DS and WII versions have a different engine, they're still made by the same people. Those versions are the worst of all systems, and are the one's taking up all the time they could make the games better. The mobil version should go too.

Anyways, i've added new updates, including a new theme. More about the theme and a new control layout will come in the upcoming days

the reason why THQ don't make a "better" game is because THQ have about 9 months to make the next installment of SvR. And 9 months is short. To make a great game it needs about 2 to 3 years of development. Look at Super Mario Galaxy it took ten years to make, COD4: MW2 probably took about two years, Fallout 3 took about ten years. With THQ only having 9 months they start getting lazy and recycle old stuff.

Actually Socom......THQ starts planning and making the next game while working on the one set to be released so they have about a year to work on a game. Also, ten years is good for a Mario game but a wrestling game taking ten years to make would end up being one mangled up, out of date, POS.

Well, you named war based games, and those are always crap. Super Mario Galaxy is a huge disapointment.

The WWE games get better every year, and i've never played one I haven't liked.

Anyways, i'm putting up todays updates

All the stuff you listed at the top would never happen. Theres no way in hell they would stick that many superstars in the game it's just not logical. Why get your hopes up I mean there will be changes next year, but no where that drastic. I would like a G.M. mode fused with a create a story mode, which I could see happening. I would also like new theme downloads and better superstar DLC. Get rid of, or re-due the online downloads of CAW's. Where you can edit the superstars and give the moves and Music. Will see in October when the next one comes out.

Why so many updates?? It's ok to Dream but it's better you get in real life, men 4get about a new totally awesomeness game with insane graphics and all systems (that you like), with 300+ plus superstars that you desire, and modes that no one cares about with total fantasy things....

Men next year game's gonna have 70-75 superstars, the models gonna be the same but with more abdominals (witchs THQ is insane cuz everybody got awesome six pack abs even kane), maybe 1 ou 2 more Road to Wrestlemania Storylines if you're lucky, and that's all, of course gonna have a lot of useless shit's just to THQ promote the game, like this year's Alies and Enemies, i think is this the name of that stupid feature when you having a match another superstar's enters the arena and you pin you're opponent in the next second and it's all... prety shithy, i mean amazing han :)
THQ is Good and i Love Smackdown Series got every year in the release date the game, playing it for ages but encare the facts thats Smackdown's IT'S and forever will be Smackdown's not TOTAL AWESOME SUPER HIPER SMACKDOWN, good game every year better but stick it to the real life or you gonna have a disapointment

Oh and yeah, buy a new system because 2009 was the last 4 games for PS2 Release, smackdown, naruto, and i think Pro and Fifa i don't really know about this two last's, buy a PS3 or a XBOX360, i sure you will be pretty satisfied ;)

The problem with your ideas is, PS2 is near death and the system can't handle anymore.
