I belive that the greatest highflyer today is Jack Evans, but all time is close, between him and Hayabusa.

But I have to say Hayabusa, because he invented a lot of moves that people like Evans use today.

Honorable mention to Yoshitsune.

Also, post your favorite highflying move, mine is the phoenix splash.

And, post what you think is the craziest highflying move you have ever seen, I would say the corkscrew shooting star elbow by MDogg20, or the Dragon Cyclone Press, by Yoshitsune.

And/or, your favorite highflying moment, very tough to decide, but for now it was Primetime walking the cage at TNA's Turning Point, a few years back.

I really dislike both, given their lack of true ring psychology in most matches. Evans has improved though.

All time? Probably Mysterio. Guy's a genius.

By both, do you mean Hayabusa and Yoshitsune. I have to admit that Mysterio is great, before WWE he was better though.

I mean Hayabusa and Evans.

I actually think Mysterio's improved since joining WWE. I still hate the 619, but overall his matches are better. I hate when people do like 1080 triple backflips from the bottom rope (Exaggerated obviously), because it's so unrealistic. Highflying can be awesome, but only when done in a believable fashion.

I will agree that Mysterio's ring ability has improved, but I think that his highflying ability has decreased. With what you said about some moves being too unbelievable, sometimes it's the unbelievabilty of the move that makes it amazing. Take my avatar for example, it's so crazy and unbelievable, that it makes you enjoy it, and wonder how they do it. Plus, you also have to admit that a 1080 triple backflip would be cool, lol.

I've seen Evans do a 720 double moonsault from the top rope, I bet he could do it off of a ladder, Lol.

Also, I was thinking about adding a "what is the craziest, or your favorite, highflying move ever done" category. Care to give your favorite?

Favorite? Dunno, Foley falling off the cell comes to mind. People complain about the spot because "Therez leik no sicologee win he gotz up n caym bak!!!11!!!11!!"

The dude legit separates his shoulder and sells it like hell. Then he falls through, gets legit KO'd, and looks groggy for the remainder of the match. Then those people go on and praise someone like Necro Butcher, who gets hit with everything in the book on top of like 8 finishers before he loses. **** OFF! [end vent]

But yeah, him falling off the cell was the shit.

Yeah that was awesome, it was even more dangerous because him falling through the cell was unplanned.

Also, that is more of a highflying moment, not a move, it was a great moment none the less.

Off topic, why do people put !!!11!! in there sentences, I don't really get it.

greatest of all time...wow...

I guess I'll say Mysterio because he adds psychology but he's not really an exciting high flyer according to todays standards...

psychosis was pretty good in his prime too...I don't know if Generico is considered a high flyer but he gets an honrable mention in my book...Jonny Storm is pretty badass too...

I agree with you on Psychosis, although he isn't much anymore. Also, would you care to list your favorite highflying move/craziest highflying move.

oo yaa sorry man...

umm alot of the stuff evans and ruckus does is insane!!! i mean ya theres no psychology but its insane!!!

im gonna say the sydal press...to be able to run up to the top turnbuckle while a guy is sitting there is hard to begin with but then to get your footing and have both men FLIP essentially doing a front flip/moonsault combo has got to be extremely hard and puts BOTH men at an extreme risk...its not very flashy or very INSANE but considering the risk factor and extreme difficulty involved it gets my nomination.

I agree, everytime you watch Jack Evans, there is a good chance that you'll see something that you've never seen before. The Sydal Press is an amazing move, I have to admit, and the thing about highflyers, is that they make moves like that seem so easy.

Yes, he calls it the Flux Capicitator, Paul Burchill actually did the same move, but not on the top rope, and he called it the C4.

Ugh Mysterio....

For the best of all time I'd say Jack Evans also, just based on high flyer things he's done FYI.

For the craziest high fly thing, I can't remember the fed or even the guys, but one of them was hanging on to the roof rafter, the other was in the middle of the ring, he let go and leg dropped him. It was a pretty big fall.

Others honors go to: Paul London, AJ Styles, Elix Skipper, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Brain Kendrick, and Sabu.

To Real American ICON, the C4 is not as good as Sydals, you are right, but the Flux Capacitator is still a pretty good move though.

To Grizz, The moment you might be thinking of, is from TNA's Lockdown last year when AJ Style hung from the rafters, and landed on James Storm who was on a table, on the roof of the lethal lockdown cage. Also, would you like to post a favorite move?

Sorry Grizz, but....

*vomits*

It's been said by many that in his younger days Juve was actually a better wrestler than Mysterio. It's a shame he couldn't stay off drugs and has such a bad attitude.

I believe, that back in his prime, the self proclaimed "Mexican Rock," Juventud Guerrerra, was a great wrestler. It is a shame, what has happened to him.

Jimmy Snuka jumping off the cage gets an honorable mention from me.

Edit: Against Muraco, not the one he missed against Backlund in 1980.

The one that he missed, started the whole highflying revolution, although when he hit it, it looked much cooler.

I heard that when he did the first one, nobody in the back knew that he was going to do it, so could you imagine the looks on there faces when they saw it, lol.

The one he hit was more influential though, and memorable.
