The past consoles we had the trusty cheat device. The new consoles however no devices has been made. I don't mind this, but when it comes to wrestling games there's always problems that the gamers have to try and fix themselves.

I got to say right now WWE 12 is looking quite promising that I might actually spend as much time on it as I did past games like SvR 2006 and Here comes the Pain. However one major problem for me that I will never be able to look past. And that's the sexist bull**** that WWE is enforcing in these games by preventing male vs female matches. Which is beyond hypocritical since the show itself occasionally have occurances when males are fighting women.

Please tell me that there is still someway to hack this game and get rid of all the nonsense WWE and THQ keep on putting in these games.

They don't do cheat devices for modern day consoles for some reason, so they probably won't be able to get codes, but I'm not really sure about that! :(

There is a way yes, On 360 you can edit the save game. And almost everything we have done in the past on ps2 can be done on Xbox360.

This game is also out on the Wii, and yes, there is an "unofficial" cheat device for the wii, known as WiiRD (pronounced "weird"). Of course, to use WiiRD codes, you need a homebrew-enabled/softmodded Wii. I'm going to purchase a USB Gecko this Friday (probably won't arrive until the next Friday, though), and attempt to hack some cheats for this game (Unlock everything, infinite finishers, maybe infinite health).

I've tried the GSCentral.org forums to see if anyone would hack codes for the Wii version of this game, but it seems no one is interested...except me, and I'm sort of a n00b when it comes to making cheats. The most complicated cheat I've ever done was a "Raptor can use weapons" GameShark code for the N64 game Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. Of course, that was a 64-bit game, and the current generation of consoles is 256-bit, so I may just be out of my league... :P

I may give the Wii version a look too. However good chance it could be not as good as the PS3 or 360 versions, but it would be something to do and probably a bit better if the the same as PSP and Ps2 even more so.

Hey Taker--could you give me some pointers on what to look for when searching for an "unlock everything" code? I may have some idea, but I'm not a hundred percent sure how to go about it.

The idea I have is that I'd search for things already unlocked (default roster, for example), and search for the value 1, then look at a locked item or character, then search for the value 0. Of course, this could take quite a few iterations, and I'm not sure if I should search for 8-bit, 16-bit or 32-bit addresses...

Hoestly i haven't hacked for the next gen consoles and wouldn't know where to begin. However based on past experiences looking around already made codes is a good place to begin. Also your method you explained might work out, but it would take a bit of time as hacking like that is hit and miss results.

I am gonna look further into this and will get back to you.

EDIT: It seems after checking through hex editor i came across possible Superstatr ID's. Also strangly enough DLC Slots seem to be there and it has Chris Jericho's name as DLC Slot 25.

I've got some bad news: I can't buy that USB Gecko, because my paycheck was too small this week (had to pay room and board). Maybe next check? Who knows... :P

This is hex editing, that's what I do now. I sell a save editor for WWE'12 for Xbox360, if you wanna take a look, it's on my Youtube channel. KG971

I did check it out. Looks solid and nice work. Also he was wanting to look into doing this type of thing for the Wii version i think and most of the hacking seems to be done for the 360 game save and not the Wii

So i thought checking into the 360 Hacking and then maybe whoever wants to can try and translate it to the Wii Version.

Interesting.

I had no idea about these cheat circumventors. I only know of Action Replay, Game Genie, Game Shark and Xploder
