The outline looks cool round velvet and the background looks cool. Pritty simple and the text goes with it, overall great job.

Like i said on msn, the two sides arent equal. There are mor beams on the right side than the left. The left side looks more faded. Make both sides exactly the same but change the color of the right side. Drop the drop shadow and the bevel on the text. Maybe fit it into the beams. Prety good though, im not liking the size that much but thats just me.

i understand, man, simplicity always seems to be a victim, on the sig tho, as far as i see the style looks great, not to chaotic where it looks incredibly overdone, jus simple and creative and the outline around velvet sky make it look good......

theres not alot really going on in it....

you should do the outline around both of them...not just one...

the text doesn't really work here.....

try to do a bit more with the bg as well...and make the renders blend with the sig....

not trying to be hard on ya man....just not your best

No cause i have people who have no graphics experience on this site at all, coming in here and telling me my work looks like a 10 year old could do. This is why so many people hate the GFX section on code-x, cause there is rarely ever any good constructive critisism.

Nobody's going to close this because you feel "attacked" by our criticisms. It doesn't work like that. Ollie was only being honest, and people agreed with him. Once again, if you can't take the heat, don't post your shit in the graphics section, THIS IS WHAT IT'S FOR.

That being said, I actually like it. The only thing I'd change is make the left and right side's backgrounds symmetrical so it feels more "balanced". Good colors, liking the simplicity.

btw change the title of this topic. Beautiful People had me expecting a Marilyn Manson sig

And @ Crysis... Do you not realize that 50/50 is only 30% more than 7/10? 50/50 = 100%, 7/10 = 70%. Math is simple really.
