Hey everybody of Code-X! HAPPY NEW YEAR! Listen, I've been on here @ Code-X for a while now, and video-game hacking has always peeked my interest(I'm talkin WAY back 2 da N64 GameShark Pro dayz!). And this question is for Hernan, CDX Jobber, and many of the other SVR & game hackers that are on this site, what are some of the approaches, tools, and methods that you use to hack video games such as Smackdown Vs. RAW 2011? I've been using these hacks for a while, and I've learned a little bit through trial-and-error and self-teaching methods through the SVR series and many other games and systems.

I've always wondered about hacking myself, never bothered trying it though.

You've already did a little by trial and error right? Do need a modded console, or is all you need just the gameshark and knowledge of what to do? I have common access to a gameshark, and a lot of games I'd like codes for as Gameshark.com doesn't do shit with the PS2 anymore. But if a mod chip or whatever is needed, then I'm outta luck.

It's been awhile since I have actively hacked for Code-X, but seeing the lack of established hackers this year and seeing how it is probably the last year a SvR game will come out for PS2, I am looking to get back in a bit.

Usually, once somebody finds the general area where character address blocks(the range of addresses where a single character's stats and mods are), I go from there with trial and error. This allows me to find such things to modifier characters(height, gender, selection screen mods, IDs, show listings, ect.) Of course this year, what can be found pretty much is, but I am interested in finding out if the address blocks have a specific address representing WWE Universe rankings so we can edit them to our taste. I would also like to see if any models exist in the no model slots(like Druid and Mike Chioda last year).
