Amped 3 Character Profile
Meet Sebastian, Amped 3's philosopher. HD movies included.

- Amped 3 isn't the same game as it's predecessors in more ways than one. The grind button has been removed, the graphics tweaked, a sledding feature added, and perhaps most notably the art style has been radically changed. Amped 3 fuses two dimensional graphics from the beginning era of video games with strange, stop-motion cinematics, anime, and flipbook-style storytelling. It's an odd experience to play through for sure, but somehow, it all makes sense.

Throughout the game you'll be slicing slopes on seven resorts around the world in addition to an unlockable DC Mountain Lab course that becomes available after you beat the story mode. The actual resorts are absolutely massive and allow an SSX 3 style of free roaming as you look to complete trick and racing challenges. There's even a snowmobile you can use to get around faster. In addition, you'll be able to navigate where you drop in to each mountain through a huge and easy to use 3D map which you can rotate around and zoom in with. As you complete challenges you'll gain respect and unlock new story modes. Amped 3 will feature 200 more tricks than its predecessor and will have around 320 tracks from various artists in the industrial rock, electronica, and punk rock genres, in addition to many others.

As part of a weekly feature, we bring you one of Amped 3's colorful characters. Meet Sebastian.

Sebastian is many things: Zen Master, militant pacifist, and big-boned. His unconditional love and acceptance is the glue that holds the crew together. Maybe he's not as fast or athletic or in shape as his buddies, but he's way more in touch with the spiritual side of snowboarding and prefers the more subtle arts of style, butter, and off-axis trickery. Sebastian worships a pantheon of Snow Gods and introduces us to them during a mystical Zen Run.
