Graphics do look great but for me it's about the content. From WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2011 onwards, all they have done is copied and pasted with a few updates. I'm not sure if 2K Sports could do much with WWE 2K14 since they got it just after THQ went out of business but hopefully now they have had some time, WWE 2K15 will be more than just a WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2011 yearly update.

I've bought every WWF SmackDown game since the original on the PlayStation One. WWE 2K14 was only one I received and returned the same day because it had the same stuff as WWE '13.

The Graphics are fine but it is meaning less if the gameplay is the same. In HCTP the gameplay is great and it is fast. Ever since that the controls and overall gameplay has become clunky and slow. They need to study how each match performs and use that as a bench mark. What I don't like currently in the series is how a matchs flow. Many times I've lost matches to stupid moves such as a superplex or powerslam. When has anyone seen Triple H or Bryan finish the match after a powerslam.

They also need to fix the Universe mode, it's lackluster and it just feel as a match card which can easily be set up in normal mode. Give us Storylines and give us proper rivials. In a rivial the two wrestler should not face each other until the PPV not every week. Bring back GM Mod as well.

Everything that Socom said really.

My interest with this series of games took a nose dive on playing WWE 2K14, it was an awful game and I was done with it just after one day. It was almost a near identical version to WWE '13 in looks and playability, nothing had been touched in-game from WWE '13 either, just a new story.

I know I'm probably sounding a bit harsh as 2K had to pick up from where THQ left off so I suspect Yukes didn't have the budget they normally do for the release. With any luck Yukes/2K will pull it out the bag this time (I hope), regardless of reviews, content and features I will be buying again just because I have bought every release since the original SmackDown on PSone, I'll just be extremely upset by spending £40 on it if it is rubbish.

What is worrying me is that this game comes out in October(?), yet there is no gameplay and two versions of the game is being made. Makes you wonder.

What I'm mostly curious about at this point is if they will implement the Xbox One Kinect for CAW making. If they do, I might buy it for that alone just to fuck around with it.

Edit: Oh, and here's two new screens.

Even the John Cena vs. Randy Orton feud in the screenshots. Would of been good to see how well they have done someone with a beard like Daniel Bryan or Bray Wyatt.

Oh wow, those screenshots look amazing! :o

We really need some more information, gameplay videos, etc. by now, hopefully the SummerSlam roster reveal event in a few weeks will show more. :)

Was just going to post this in it's own topic. I guess 8 months wasn't enough time to take him out...

It's probably because he's in one of the showcase feuds. If they took him out, any work they had done would have went to waste and they would have had to replace it with another feud, possibly delaying the release.

I'm curious about HHH and HBK's feud though, what are they going to do for WM20? lol.

I've heard if you do a Royal Rumble match and Punk does not win it, he deletes himself from the game.

But the crowd still chants CM Punk when you play as AJ Lee.

Randy Orton vs. Cesaro

Well the graphics look good, still a little concerned on the gameplay based on that, it's still so similar to SmackDown vs. Raw series, although I'm not sure what I'm expecting, hopefully we will see some more matches which will change my mind.

I'm also a little concerned that this game is going to look at bit "dated" when WWE's new logo goes into full effect after SummerSlam next week, I suspect Yukes won't have enough time to change the logos on everything in the game in time for release. There could even be a new set next week on Raw for all we know. I guess they are cosmetic things but I like things to be as nice and up-to-date as possible.

I thought this game was going to have multiple animations for each moves. Yet Cesaro his the michinoku driver twice and it's using the same animation. Graphics are nice but the gameplay is still....lacking. They should really just do HCTP HD.

I've seen the Cesaro and Orton gameplay footage and they STILL have the same animations. They need to fire whoever is making this game.

I heard 2K Sports hired a shit load of people who used to work for THQ when that went down. So all the same people are giving the same ideas resulting in the same old shit. I'm still not convinced other than graphicswise that this will be any diffrent.
