well yesterday it was $3.49 a gal. for regular and today regular is $5.00+ and going up every hour...idk what's going on
i saw it go up 50 cents in 30 mins today
im from TN btw, Knoxville area
anyone else know why it's going up so much today

Yes, the hurricanes is the reason. They had to close all the off-shore oil drills in the Gulf of Mexico because of Ike. Its likely it will keep rising too.

Haven't you lot ever thought that it might be that the company's have loaned to much money and now they need it all back so everyone puts the prices up and were all ****ed.

yea, 3nigma, i'm right below ya, and gas is goin crazy here. i didn't go get gas when it started rising, now all the gas stations are sold out.
