Firstly I have not seen the results from the Hell in a Call PPV! So please do ruin it for me I work over night and so I missed it, but I know a site that shows all the WWE live events for free so I was planning on watching it after work :D. Now this is just a theory of mine I have been thinking about since RVD lose in that hardcore match last month I figured in my theory that they originally planed on giving him the title but then they heard Cena was going to be recoving sooner than they thought and they couldn't just hand him back the WWE title since that would totally ruin the fund Orton and Brian have been in since he left and even WWE knows that just having Cena show up out of the blue after just two months and giving him the title would be bad for business. So they when with the next best thing have RVD lose the World title match and hand pick Cena to be World Heavyweight Champion. Now again I can't prove this but it makes since I think it all goes back to Summerslam. If Cena had never been hurt in the first place I think WWE would of set up a Cena vs Orton rivalry since I don't think they would of let Brian beat Cena for nothing plus Orton had the Money in the Bank case for the WWE title at the time. They only did it like they did because Cena had to leave and they didn't think he would be back for 6 to 8 months... So again based off that I think RVD would of been the World Champion now if everything had of gone the way it should have RVD is a fan favorite and so when he came back himself they probably wanted to give him a push as World Champion for a few months. What does this been? Cena cost RVD the World Heavyweight Championship in my opinion. Any comments?

I think Rob Van Dam's temporary WWE contact was due to expire regardless. John Cena probably stole the World Heavyweight Championship shot from who Alberto Del Rio was going to feud with next. I heard either Christian or Rey Mysterio.

I agree with WWE wanting to keep John Cena out of the WWE Championship fued but still wanting to give him something worth while to do.

Considering your list of possible rivalries they probably should just let him keep the World title as a heel for a few more months if he beat Cena tonight which I'm sure he probably didn't and to top it off the WWE title match was going to be the main event they probably changed that for Cena Return to since he is the REAL face of the WWE and not Orton .

I like RVD, but I don't think he was ever meant to win the title, he seems more like enhancement talent now days. The only thing that I could see possibly give him a major title is if he realigned with Paul Heyman.

Damien Sandow is still current Money in the Bank case holder for the World Title so they will probably do some gimmick with him attacking Cena for is but remember Zigger didn't cash it in for a whole year so Sandow maybe keeping that case for a long time. WWE gave it to him for a reason and I think after Cena loses it he is going to "cash in" his case the night Cena does lose it to someone in like a big match like Zigger did. Their not going to let him do it as long as Cena is Champion so my opinion is he will do it the night Cena loses the title to someone after like a major match where both oppents are beaten up and Cena lose it that's my theory I actually thought it was going to happen in the hardcore match RVD was in since RVD is face and Damien Sandow is heel so it would of happened after a major no DQ match.
