had to go with the 619, doesn't really look like it could inflict much damage to someone at all.

how about having someone do it too you...

with the momentum he gets from running the ropes combines with the swinging motion of his body i'd say thats plenty of force to knock a few teeth out or give a broken nose...

you're getting kicked in the face essentially...

No doubt about that, however what makes the 619 overrated is the predictable set up and overselling even after seeing it connect pretty badly most of the time.

Ideally that would be the case... But you expect me to believe that a drop toe hold magically lands a guy on the second rope and keeps him there long enough to do all the taunting and running, and then hit the move? I guess that's the most unreal part about it. I mean it's a great move and I love Rey, but kinda unbelievable especially when used on heavyweights.

the set up and reaction from the move are crap i agree whole heartedly but the move itself is effective.

I'd say that the People's Elbow is the most overrated move. He dances around and then drops an elbow on someone, and they stay down? Not very realistic.

I'm starting to think that perhaps internet fans take things a tad too seriously ...

He didn't wear any padding on his elbows and dove from the top turnbuckle and drove his bare elbow into the chest of his opponent. It'd hurt plenty.
