Midway the same company that made MLB Slug Fest 2006 and TNA Impact are so lazy that they took the punching animation from their baseball game back in 2006 waited a couple of years and imported it into their wrestling game did anyone else notice this or is it just me?

no they had an animation in the game when you have the ball in your hand you can run over and punch the man on base then they reused the same animation in the TNA game , I didn't say anything about glitches or stats

Stats DO affect gameplay in baseball games. Mariano Rivera's cutter is going to move more than say... Kyle Farnsworth's. But stats don't matter, right? Manny Ramirez obviously has more power, meaning harder hits. But even if I'm hitting with someone like Jamie Moyer, I should be able to crush it, right? Because stats don't matter, right?

What was the last MLB game you played anyway?

That's a load of crap. Unless you are at the plate and not pressing ANYTHING, the stats affect.

Clearly you didn't read my post/understand it. How can stats NOT affect the game? You have a better chance of hitting a homerun with Ryan Howard than you would with Chipper Jones. It doesn't matter how good or bad you are, Howard has a higher power stat. He's going to hit harder. Sounds to me like maybe you're just bad at baseball games and are grouping them all together. And you never answered what the last MLB game you played was.

With the exception of 2K8, you played some of the worst baseball games available. And Slugfest is an arcade game. It's not meant to be realistic or especially challenging. Try playing MLB 2K9 on 360 or MVP Baseball 2005 on PS2.
