Credit: Sergio517 & Socom

The following tutorial is a guide to help you create Saves using AR MAX and a Max Drive. To create saves or even get saves using AR MAX, you will need a MAX Drive and an AR MAX Cheat Device as shown below.

Now you are ready to start creating a save.

Step 1: Check the side of your Max Drive and make sure the slider is set to "Unlocked", otherwise you won't be able to access anything.

Step 2: Make sure your Memory Card is properly inserted into your PS2's memory card slot.

Step 3: Insert your Max Drive into the PS2's USB slot and make sure it is secure.

Step 4: Insert your AR MAX Cheat Disc into your PS2.

Step 5: Turn your PS2 on and wait for the AR MAX Disc to load.

Step 6: Select "MAX MEMORY" as shown below.

Step 7: Select "MY DEVICES" as shown below.

Step 8: Select Memory Card 1 as your PRIMARY Device as shown below.

Step 9: Make sure to checkmark the SvR06 Game File on the Left Side and select COPY to MAX DRIVE as shown below.

The Save is now successfully copied to the Max Drive. You can now keep this as a back up in case your Memory Card ever gets corrupted or lost. Your Data will be safe.

The next steps involves you sharing your Save with the online world.

Step 10: Insert your MAX Drive into the USB slot of your Computer. A new window should pop up as shown below.

*If a new window did not pop up, do not worry. Simply go to "SAVE"--> "My Computer"-->"J: Drive".*

Step 11: This is the final step. Go to a reliable site such as Megaupload.com and upload your file. Once the file is uploaded, you are now ready to share your Game Save with others online. Enjoy.

just wanted to add: you don't need a MaxDrive just a normal USB JumpDrive will do.

Topics like this never die because they will always be up in the index, so it's ok to bump them. ;)
