Creating Saves with Codebreaker and a Flash Drive Tutorial
Credit: Sergio517 & Socom (for the base of the tutorial lol) and Agent Smith

The following tutorial is a guide to help you create Saves using Codebreaker and a Flash Drive. To create saves or even get saves using Codebreaker, you will need a Flash Drive and an Codebreaker Cheat Device as shown below.

Materials

Codebreaker:

(styles may vary)

Now you are ready to start creating a save.

Step 1: Make sure your Memory Card is properly inserted into your PS2's memory card slot.

Step 2: Insert your Flash Drive into the PS2's USB slot and make sure it is secure.

Step 3: Insert your Codebreaker Cheat Disc into your PS2.

Step 4: Turn your PS2 on and wait for the Codebreaker Disc to load.

Step 5: Select "Device Manager."

Step 6: Select the memory card you wish to copy the data from.

Step 7: Select the file that reads “SD! vs RAW 2006.” (if you wish to make a svr06 save)

Step 8: Press triangle after having selected your file and select “Copy.” Now select the Flash Drive, which is third from the left, and press X. It will then tell you not to remove the Flash Drive as it is copying your file.

The Save is now successfully copied to the Flash Drive. You can now keep this as a back up in case your Memory Card ever gets corrupted or lost. Your Data will be safe.

The next steps involves you sharing your Save with the online world.

Step 9: Insert your Flash Drive into the USB slot of your Computer. A new window should pop up.

*If a new window did not pop up, do not worry. Simply find “Removable Disc” on “My Computer”

Step 10: This is the final step. Go to a reliable site such as Megaupload.com and upload your file. Once the file is uploaded, you are now ready to share your Game Save with others online.
Enjoy.

Hey kobe8 i got flash driver today. The one i got is the Lexar Jump Drive 512 MB 80x speed.

also heres the link for my flash driver info.

Lexar Jump Driver 512MB 80x speed

if you have time can you check it out and tell if thats ok so i can start saving caws.

Thanks for helping out.

Hey kobe8 nevermind about the flash driver. I tried it already and it works but i have one question that i dont understand i'll try my best to explain it.

I followed the steps for the codebreaker tutorial and i didnt have a problem. Everything went perfect. I copied the memory card into the flash driver for back up which thank god i did lol. But I only have one memory card so for that, i have everything for the sdvsraw06 i have about 29 caws that i got from website to keep my roster updated. Then i started to see that people are using the flash driver to save caws which is cool because is way better then doing the formula. But I'm confused on this because today i save my first caw file on the flash driver.

On the flash driver it reads sdvsraw06 my back up and the (sergio517 diva save v2.1)
On mine memory card i have my regular sdvsraw06

so then i put the codebreaker and the flash driver in the ps2 so i can use sergio517 diva save2.1

On the device manager part i copied the sergio517 diva to my memory card and it ask me if i want to overwrite it. I only two choice yes or no. so i said yes then

I put ther regular game and then it load memory card but it only had the sergio profle- diva caws. (well from that part I'm glad it works)

But is this how its going to be aways because i wanted to have my regular profile from my memory card.

Or
does it work like this what if i buy another memory card to use sergio diva profile so i can load it up.

So then when I play the game i have my profile and the second memory card i load up the rest of the caws (diva save2.1)

sorry if I have confused you but this should be my very last question .

you need TWO memory cards. one will keep your profiles and such, but u will leave spaces to put caws in from your secondary memory card.

you download the save you want caws from to your flash drive and then copy it to your SECONDARY memory card.

now you just copy the CAWS and the CAWS only to your primary memory card by starting the game with your primary memory card then going to save/load->copy superstars.

it will ask you where to copy the caws from, answer slot 2. then says yes when it asks if you are sure.

now just copy your caws and you will keep your profiles and such along with the new CAWs :) .

First of all, please do not post in all caps as it signifies yelling ;)

As for your flash drive not working, if it is a cruzer micro then i do not believe it is compatible with codebreaker because i have had the same problem with that type of flash drive. what is the brand of the flash drive are you using?

My advice is get a Codebreaker. It's cheap and it is reliable. Or you could spend a little more on an AR MAX. But for the most part nobody uses GS. I can't help you with Gameshark, I never used one for saves.
